Kadathanad Pravasi & Family Welfare & Development Co-Operative Society Ltd. No.D.2939 is the brainchild of a group of 26 co-operators based in Vadakara. The society's jurisdiction of operation would be Kozhikode district. The meeting of the 26 Co-operators held on 5th June 2011 in the house of Adv. I.Moosa gave shape this pravasies sangam. Decision was taken to submit application to the joint Registrar of Co-operative society Kozhikode District to form the proposed pravasi society.
